Warranty
At qost we stand for quality and reliability. That's why you get a 5-year warranty on all our cables and adapters.
We believe you should be able to trust products that do what they promise – without any hassle.
Statutory warranty
As a consumer, you are entitled to a good product. This means our products must meet what you may reasonably expect from them.
This is called the statutory warranty.
The statutory warranty applies independently of our 5-year manufacturer's warranty and does not detract from it.
Under Dutch law, you are entitled to free repair or replacement when a product:
- Does not comply with the agreement
- Shows a defect that did not arise through your own fault
- Breaks down within a reasonable period under normal use
5-Year Qost Warranty
In addition to the statutory warranty, we offer a 5-year warranty from the date of purchase on manufacturing and material defects.
What is covered by the warranty?
- Defects under normal use
- Manufacturing defects
- Material defects
What is not covered by the warranty?
- Damage due to misuse
- Damage from dropping, impact or water damage
- Normal wear and tear
- Modifications or repairs carried out by third parties
- Commercial or professional use (unless otherwise agreed)
What do we do in case of a defect?
If a product breaks down within the warranty period and this is not the result of misuse, we offer, free of charge:
- Repair, or
- Replacement with an equivalent product
If repair or replacement is not possible, you will receive a suitable solution in accordance with statutory rules.
How do you make a warranty claim?
Contact our customer service and state:
- Your order number
- A clear description of the problem
- If possible, a photo or brief explanation
We will then help you as quickly as possible.
Keep your proof of purchase
You need a valid proof of purchase for warranty claims. Therefore, always keep your invoice or order confirmation.
